dep

deposit bytes into memory

NAME
dep - deposit bytes into memory

SYNOPSIS
    dep addr byte [byte ...]

DESCRIPTION
Stores one or more hexadecimal byte values into memory starting at
the hexadecimal address addr. The counterpart to dump. Quiet on
success. dep is a /bin program (formerly an OS built-in).

NOTES
dep writes anywhere in the 64K space, including over the resident OS.
Because it loads into the TPA at $6A00, depositing into its own
footprint (roughly $6A00..$7A00) corrupts the running program -- so
dep into other regions (OS variables, high RAM, the I/O ports).

EXAMPLES
    dep 9000 41 42 43 store "ABC" at $9000
dep FF02 AA drive the LED port
