find

search for files by name under the CWD

NAME
find - search for files by name under the CWD

SYNOPSIS
    find pattern

DESCRIPTION
Walks the current directory tree depth-first and prints the full path
of every entry (file or directory) whose name matches. If the pattern
contains * or ? it is a case-insensitive glob; otherwise it is a
literal substring match. Searches the CWD subtree only. find is a
    /bin program.

LIMITS
Descends at most 10 levels below the CWD, and records at most 24
subdirectories per level. Anything deeper or wider is skipped
silently -- find prints what it found, with no warning that part of
    the tree went unsearched.

EXAMPLES
    find .TXT names containing ".TXT"
find *.c names matching a glob
    find TEST?.ASM glob with a single-char wildcard
