streq

NUL-terminated string equality for /BIN commands (//#use streq)

NAME
    streq - NUL-terminated string equality for /BIN commands (//#use streq)

SYNOPSIS
    //#use streq        cc splices /lib/lib_streq.c

DESCRIPTION
    One helper: streq(p, q) returns 1 if the two NUL-terminated strings
    are equal (both reach NUL together), else 0.

        while (p[i] != 0 && p[i] == q[i]) i = i + 1;
        return p[i] == q[i];        /* both reached NUL together */

    Stays within the native p8cc.c subset (no ++/--, decls at top) and
    touches only its own locals, so callers keep their pointer registers.
    Used wherever a command matches an option word or a fixed keyword and
    wants to keep the intent obvious.
