rotate¶
set the scene's rotation and redraw
NAME
rotate - set the scene's rotation and redraw
SYNOPSIS
rotate [x y z [px py pz]]
DESCRIPTION
The scene is GL command list 0 -- whatever tri built (stage 10c).
This command rewrites the card's MODELING matrix and replays the
list: five small commands, the fabric does the rest. Angles are
DEGREES (the card's native unit; the brads of stages 7-9 died with
the sine table): 360 is a full turn, 90 a quarter, negative allowed.
They apply as yaw (y), then pitch (x), then roll (z), about the
pivot point (px py pz; the origin without one). Scenes whose depth
is baked into their vertices turn in place when the pivot is their
centre (0 0 400, say). Bare ROTATE resets the rotation. Answers
?No scene until a tri has recorded one. Needs the GL engine.
EXAMPLES
tri -80 -80 300 80 -80 300 0 40 420 f 31 0 0
rotate 0 45 0 0 0 340 yaw the scene about its middle
rotate 20 45 0 0 0 340 ...and tip it forward 20 degrees
rotate back to unrotated
