NAME
    head - print the first lines of a file

SYNOPSIS
    head [-N] [file]

DESCRIPTION
    Prints the first N lines of a file, or of standard input if no file
    is given. N defaults to 10. head is a /bin program.

OPTIONS
    -N    print the first N lines (e.g. -5)

EXAMPLES
    head N.TXT           first 10 lines
    head -5 N.TXT        first 5 lines
    cmd | head           first 10 lines of a pipe
