NAME
    tail - print the last lines of a file

SYNOPSIS
    tail [-N] [file]

DESCRIPTION
    Prints the last N lines of a file, or of standard input if no file is
    given. N defaults to 10 and is clamped to 1..40. Lines are held in a
    ring buffer and printed in order at end of input. tail is a /bin
    program.

OPTIONS
    -N    print the last N lines (e.g. -5)

EXAMPLES
    tail N.TXT           last 10 lines
    tail -5 N.TXT        last 5 lines
    cmd | tail           last 10 lines of a pipe
