NAME
    sort - sort lines of text

SYNOPSIS
    sort [file]

DESCRIPTION
    Reads a file (or standard input) into memory, sorts its lines in
    ascending ASCII byte order, and prints them. Holds up to 128 lines of
    up to 79 characters (longer lines are truncated). sort is a /bin
    program.

EXAMPLES
    sort S.TXT               file's lines ascending
    cmd | sort               sort a pipe
    sort f | uniq            sort, then collapse duplicates
